Anyone here? Dates of recent posts seem a little old but I wanted to say hi anyway.

I´m from Mexico, I found this page looking for info about WITCH and discovered there was this whole comic series dedicated to what seems Donald (Paperinik ^^U) as a superhero. I was so surpriesed. My fave cartoon character of all time is Donald and the comics looked really interesting. I read as much as I could in the page. Since italian and spanish share latin roots I understad most of the times almost all info, if not I used the altavista to translate to english...so I may have quite a mixture of information in different languages in my mind XD

As a previous message says, I´m sad PK series is not available in here (though WITCH was published in here more than a year before it hit USA). Hope it gets published someday.

    Greetings :)

Hi Yanis! The third series of the PK (Paperinik) comic-book was launched to be published in America after the related videogame "PK - Out of the shadows" (that's why in the third series the hero has a new origin), but as the game didn't sell enough the operation was interrupted. We unfortunately think PK will never reach USA and Mexico :(

However in Italy Donald is a superhero since 1969 (Paperinik was created by Guido Martina, Elisa Penna and Giovan Battista Carpi)... First he was an avenger, against Scrooge or Gladstone. But from the fifth story in which he takes part became a superhero. In 1996 was created PK, a comic book with Paperinik stories much more similar to american superheroes.

    Hi!
And now there's the third of PK series, but in the opinion of lots of fans (and mine), it's VERY inferior to the first and the second ones.

However, welcome to PK Galaxy Forum!

Hi PkRensel :) now that you mention it, I recall seeing a videogame about Donald (not Going Quackers one) in which "I think" he was wearing a sperhero costume, but since I did no have a console at the moment, did not payed much attention (great fan me ¬¬ ) It is strange that they based publishing PK upon how well the game did at sells if no one knew the story behind it appearently outside of Europe. Those marketing decisions will allways be a mistery to me -_-

However in Italy Donald is a superhero since 1969 (Paperinik was created by Guido Martina, Elisa Penna and Giovan Battista Carpi)...

So I´ve read in this page, thanks for the info ^-^

Thanks for the welcome ^^ U_U sad it´s not the same quality, I got this article in my forum from a member: www.comicon.com/cgi-bin/pulse.cgi?http%3A//www.comicon.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi%3Fubb%3Dget_topic%26f%3D36%26t%...
In general it says that at Comicon convention Disney Comics were told to be published in the US (the one will be for sure is WITCH, I heard they are selling the novels, not quite sure if the comic itself) Some statements were made about the classic characters having new stories or adventures, I really hope one of them is PK ;_; AND preferably the first and second parts you mention to be the best ones. I specially like from what I´ve read in summaries the part where Paperinik (I hope I´m gettin right the spelling :P) travells to the future.

Wow! Good article! Giancorda (he was a member of Pk-Team, which created the PK continuity...) also speaks in it!

    Unfortunately no-one speaks about PK...

The book is on the table.

    And the thread is locked.
